Riot Ten has officially released “Mamacita,” a collaboration with Love Island contestant Nic Vansteenberghe, sampling the reality TV star in a track that’s guaranteed to get reactions across all stages.

The viral moment first aired during the 9th episode of the show’s 7th season, when fellow islander Huda Mustafa revealed she was a single mother. Her line “I’m a mommy” led to Vansteenberghe responding with his offbeat “Mommy? Mamacita,” unknowingly creating one of the season’s most replayed memes.

Fans flooded TikTok with edits and remixes, and by June, Riot Ten had already flipped the line into a track that he initially dropped on SoundCloud. Coincidentally, Vansteenberghe is also a diehard raver, even showing up to Riot Ten’s set at Bass Canyon this year after the viral moment.

“Coming into the villa I had a love for bass music and had been attending festivals for years prior,” Vansteenberghe said. “Now leaving the villa, I had the opportunity to release a song with one of my favorite DJs in the scene. Life is so unpredictable and crazy in the best ways.”

They’ve now teamed up to officially distribute the track on streaming platforms, marking Vansteenberghe’s debut music release as Freakonico. In terms of production, Riot Ten trades his bass-heavy roots for a house intro that prioritizes crisp percussion, fitting for a Love Island sample. He eventually uncorks a darker, more heavy-hitting bass drop that fans will more readily recognize after the producer’s ferocious album, Requiem for a Riot.

You can listen to “Mamacita” below and find the new single on streaming platforms here.
