It works in Arrangement View, Session View and directly from the Browser. The tool is powered by Music AI, the developers behind Moises, and is available in Live 12 Suite and on Push 3 Standalone.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Coming in Live 12.3 \u2013 Stem Separation\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uSahY-HGKt4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Live&#8217;s Browser now integrates directly with Splice, allowing users to preview samples in sync and in key with their project. &#8220;With the new Search with Sound feature, you can also capture audio from your project, or drag and drop a clip into the Splice panel, and Splice will find samples that fit the rhythms and harmonies of your track,&#8221; the company stated in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ableton.com\/en\/blog\/live-12-3-is-coming\/\">blog post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The update also expands Live&#8217;s bounce capabilities. Group tracks can now be bounced in place, and individual sections can be rendered with all processing included. A new shortcut allows any copied clip or segment to be pasted as bounced audio into other tracks or take lanes, even after changes have been made.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Auto Pan-Tremolo has also been redesigned with updated modulation controls and more timing options. The interface now lets users switch between panning and tremolo modes. A new XYZ layout turns the pad grid into a touch-responsive surface for controlling effects, instruments and macros. Support for class-compliant audio interfaces has been added, allowing for expanded input and output options. Rhythm Generator has been adapted into a layout designed for live beat creation, with real-time visual feedback on the grid.<\/p>\n<p>Note and Move have also been updated. Note now offers full access to the Drift synthesizer&#8217;s parameters as an in-app purchase. Move 1.6 adds new sliced loop presets, the ability to reverse Drum Rack samples from the Sample Options menu and improved project transfer using Move Manager.<\/p>\n<p>The update includes new sound content as well. The Generators pack introduces a set of MIDI tools for melodic and rhythmic patterns. Expressive Chords now supports a Chord Edit mode with transposition and learning functions.
