The inaugural lineup features South African dance music icon Black Coffee alongside influential DJs and producers like Honey Dijon, Dennis Cruz and WhoMadeWho.<\/p>\n<p>Day Zero\u2019s Brazilian edition will place special emphasis on homegrown talent. Vintage Culture, one of the country&#8217;s most prominent electronic artists, will headline alongside rising stars Mochakk, ANNA, Malive and a collaborative performance from Maz and Antdot.<\/p>\n<p>Lazarus, who has framed Day Zero as a ritualized blend of music, environment and community, will close the event with a sunrise set, a tradition that has become the festival\u2019s centerpiece.<\/p>\n<p>Known for its pristine beaches and coral reefs, S\u00e3o Miguel dos Milagres has in recent years become a popular tourist destination. Day Zero aims to highlight the region&#8217;s natural beauty and honor the land through &#8220;with its own signature ceremony,&#8221; according to a press release.<\/p>\n<p>The festival will be produced in collaboration with local partners Entourage Live, Plus Network, Tamo Junto, Gaz Events and BOMA.
