GRiZ has delivered yet another heavyweight track in his 2025 comeback, teaming up with UK mainstay Flowdan for “Coast 2 Coast.” Long circulated as a sought-after GRiZ ID, the track now arrives in full as a reimagined cut featuring a brand-new topline from Flowdan.

The track opens with zero hesitation and launches straight into the instrumental, stacking anticipation before Flowdan steps in and locks the pace. His unmistakable delivery, cool and commanding, cuts through immediately. Named one of EDM.com’s best electronic music producers of 2023, Flowdan has long been a defining voice in bass music, though newer fans likely discovered him through tracks like “Baddadan.” Here, he holds the reins, chanting “Green light go, green light go” with a kind of menacing patience before the first drop lands.

What follows isn’t an explosion, but tightly controlled electricity. The bass hits in clipped, distorted bursts, broken up by warped textures, but Flowdan never breaks his stride. His vocals glide throughout, anchoring the track while everything around him cracks and warps.

The instrumental section of “Coast 2 Coast” first surfaced during GRiZ’s hiatus. It was passed between artists like Subtronics, Tape B, Wooli, and Levity, and quickly became a staple in sets on the bass music circuit. In its final form, the single pairs Flowdan’s raw vocals with GRiZ’s festival-minded production. It is focused and built for sound systems that can take a hit.

A visual directed by Zach Okami accompanies the release, pairing Flowdan’s vocal presence with stylized cuts, heat maps, and hard shadows that match the track’s heavy weight.

Following his surprise Gemini EP, the explosive “Chaos Theory” with Wooli, and sold-out dates still ahead including Seven Stars Festival, GRiZ is keeping his foot firmly planted in his 2025 comeback with the release of “Coast 2 Coast.”
