Laidback Luke<\/a> and Linney<\/a> have joined forces for a new single, “Gasoline.”<\/p>\n

Out now on Dim Mak, the track ropes in songwriting dynamo\u00a0Linney, whose vocal performance throws a match onto Luke’s vintage electro arrangement. Recently named to the\u00a0EDM.com Class of 2025<\/a>, she delivers a vocal that refuses to flinch as the track shifts into second gear with piston-punch kicks and revving basslines.<\/p>\n

“Gasoline” arrives with the kind of narrative weight that emphasizes a breakout moment in progress for Linney. “Gasoline” marks another leap forward in a year that\u2019s seen her launch her own label<\/a> as well as make her solo DJ debut at EDC Las Vegas, the largest EDM festival in North America.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve been wanting to work with Linney for a while now, her voice has this emotional fire that draws you in,” Luke explained in a press release. “After I heard her on ‘Act of God,’ I asked for a spoken-word vocal. She sent me the acappella for ‘Gasoline,’ and I could finally unleash my Dutch versus Bloghouse energy onto it.”<\/p>\n
